Finding the trailhead can be a bit tricky, as the route passes through a narrow section that larger vehicles may struggle to navigate. It’s best to park on the main road before the village and walk toward the temple, where the trek begins. The trail is lined with lush lemongrass and leads to a final boulder with rewarding panoramic views. One side overlooks Krishnagiri Dam, nearby village settlements, and surrounding peaks. The other side reveals the more urbanised landscape of Krishnagiri Fort, the city, and the highway. Overall, it’s a pleasant, relaxed weekend hike – an easy escape from Bangalore with scenic views at the top.
